WHAT_ The Growth Camp is aimed at start-ups in their growth phase and aims to provide the most promising teams with individual support from experts and mentors to help with market expansion, upscaling of production and team development.
WHO_ Who can apply?
We recommend that the management team take part in the programme because it concerns fundamental strategic and company-wide decisions.
WHY_ From ongoing collaboration with start-ups and engagement with international programme suppliers and players from the ecosystem, it is clear that start-ups require support in specific fields of business during the initial growth phase in particular. It is on the basis of these findings that the 3-month format collaborating with the Werkstätte Wattens, I.E.C.T. Hermann Hauser and Standortagentur Tirol was developed.
HOW_ Over the three-month period, selected teams take part in the programme involving joint expert sessions and peer-to-peer input from late-phase start-ups (modules 1-7). Each team also receives 3 hours of individual coaching per module with an expert in a specific topic (to be agreed on an individual basis). Throughout the camp, each team is supported by a selected mentor from the relevant industry.

Each start-up is matched with a mentor from the industry who reflects the company’s requirements & challenges. This mentor accompanies, networks with & supports the start-up over the three-month period and beyond, if required (3 hours of individual expert coaching/module during the 3-month Growth Camp).
There are no participation fees for the start-ups.
The programme costs EUR 4,000 per team for participating start-ups. Since the project is being run as a pilot project in the Europaregio area for the first time, the costs will be covered by the organiser through the Startup.Euregio STAREU ITAT 1040 project. The Startup.Euregio STAREU ITAT 1040 project is funded by the EU through the European Regional Development Fund and Interreg V-A Italy-Austria 2014-2020.
